A Quiet Look Ahead

Dear Reader,

The Moments That Shaped Us

This was not a year of noise.

It was a year of moments, carefully chosen, deeply felt, quietly powerful.

As the year comes to a close, I wanted to reflect not on everything we have done, but on what mattered.

This is BEKIRI Wrapped.

The Rooms We Entered

This year, BEKIRI moved through spaces where culture, creativity, and power converge.

At 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair, we stood at the intersection of African art and global luxury, where craftsmanship becomes conversation, and story carries value.

At ACE Fest, we experienced the pulse of modern Black creativity: alive, expressive, and rooted in community.

Plus we were grateful to collaborate with our corporate friends at Carta for their Spring Summit, as well as luxury fashion curators Sensus Collective for their Spring pop up in Notting Hill.

We did not arrive loudly.
We arrived intentionally.

The Flavours We Released

This year marked the launch of the BEKIRI macaron range directly to you: a study in precision, exclusivity, and flavour engineering.

Each creation was designed not to impress, but to linger.

Inspired by African-centred ingredients, these were not just confectionery, they were expressions of identity, balance, and innovation.

Alongside this, we catered several private events by invitation in intimate moments where taste met trust, and where BEKIRI lived not on a feed, but in real time.

If BEKIRI can be of service for your upcoming private events in 2026, please get in touch.

The Community That Found Us

BEKIRI’s circle remains small by design.

From first-time subscribers to collectors who have followed quietly, this year reminded us that the right audience does not rush.

It arrives when the work is ready.

To those who joined us, tasted with intention, and stayed curious — thank you.

A Founder's Reflection on 2025

This year taught me that progress does not always announce itself.

Sometimes, it looks like discernment.
Sometimes, it looks like choosing fewer rooms, but quality ones.
Sometimes, it looks like protecting the vision long enough for it to mature.

BEKIRI is not being built for speed.
It is being built for endurance and legacy.

An Exclusive Look Ahead

As we step into the new year, BEKIRI’s next chapter begins to unfold. You will be the first to know as our plans materialise.

There is more to come: new Journal editions, deeper collaborations, and continued exploration of African-centred luxury through taste, culture, and craft.

We are just getting started.

And I am grateful you are here for the becoming.

I wish you a blessed Christmas and prosperous New Year.

With gratitude,

— Annabel Ola
